Checkmate

The game of chess is an apt metaphor for using business intelligence (BI) in your organization. You could play like a novice, for whom just keeping track of the rules and how each piece—or BI tool—can work is a challenge. Problem is, your competitor might just be a chess master, and like any novice playing a pro, you’ll find yourself in checkmate before you’ve even had a chance to unleash your queen.
